More details have been released regarding Jamie Lynn Spears' 8-year-old daughter Maddie Aldridge.
E! News has confirmed that Maddie is in "stable but critical condition" after an ATV accident. Maddie was riding in the ATV in Kentwood, La when she crashed into a pond just 100 yards away from her family. Jamie Lynn and step-father, Jamie Watson were standing and watching her ride when the accident occurred.
Within seconds, according to E!, Jamie Lynn and others ran over to the pond and tried to rescue Maddie but she was trapped and secured by her seatbelt. The ambulance did arrive within two minutes and were able to free her from the ATV. CPR was performed on Maddie before she was take to the hospital.
