Britney Spears' Team Hits Back At K-Fed In Child Support Legal Battle

Britney Spears' legal battle with her ex-husband Kevin Federline just won't let up, as per a new update from TMZ.

On Monday (August 6), the outlet reported Team Britney wants a judge to tell her former flame that he's wasting his time by trying to deposition the singer. Attorneys for Spears' conservatorship just filed new documents, which were obtained by TMZ, arguing that there's no reason for the star to sit down for a deposition because we all know that she makes a ton of money. Team B also said that a deposition could disrupt her current "Piece of Me Tour" schedule and potentially undermine the security of their children, Sean Preston and Jayden James, who are on the road with her.

If Kevin requests private documents like travel, school schedules and more, the information might just make its way into the wrong hands. Spears is asking a judge to limit the information that Federline can access and seal whatever documents that might surface.

As we've previously reported, Federline has been paid $20K per month in child support, but he wants more money. Spears' legal team went head-to-head with him in Los Angeles last week, where the singer's lawyer, Laura Wassner, brought in the big question: Is Kevin trying to get more money to support his other four children? Unfortunately, nothing substantive was decided and all hearings regarding the matter were put off until a later date.
