A Shocking Number of Americans Think Their Job Is Meaningless

The topic of work and doing something that makes you happy has been at the forefront of American conversation since the beginning of the pandemic. And with record numbers of people leaving stable jobs in search of something more fulfilling, a new survey puts that in to perspective!

YouGov found the 55% of Americans think that their job is making a meaningful impact to society, but 22% feel the opposite. Almost of quarter of Americans think that their job is meaningless.

Of the people who believe they're making a substantial contribution to the world are people who work in healthcare (73%) and education (72%).

When it comes to personal fulfillment, 67% of Americans say they feel good about their work while 27% don't.
